Taylor received her Master’s in Physiotherapy Studies from The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Taylor’s keen interest in the “why” behind human kinetics, exercise rehab, and injury was fostered when she acquired her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree at The University of Vermont where she also competed as Division 1 NCAA Field Hockey athlete.
Despite having the privilege to play D1 University field hockey, she spent much of her athletic career also nursing many injuries – which continued to nurture her passion for pursuing a physio career. Following her undergrad Taylor attained a National Strength and Conditioning Association certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
As a clinician, Taylor believes in the power of continuing to evolve, reflect and learn to expand her skillset to become refined and resourceful to clients. It is her goal to determine the root cause of an injury or pathology, use evidence-based tools and modalities to treat it, provide transparency and honesty through education, and empower her clients to take an active role in their rehab. It is also important to Taylor to provide clients with sincere care to allow them to feel understood, utilize appropriate tools to help them achieve their goals, regain functional normalcy, overcome any complexities of their mental circumstances, and ultimately leave clients better than she found them.
In Taylor’s spare time, she loves getting caught up in a good book with a cheeky coffee or chai latte, enjoys field hockey and lifting at the gym, trying new recipes and travelling. With that, Taylor would love the opportunity to have the sincere pleasure of working with you to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
